Shipping & Returns
Delivery
Products will be delivered to the shipping address provided by the customer during the order process.
KYVALI is based in Japan and ships both domestically and internationally.
Domestic orders within Japan will be shipped via Yamato Transport or another trusted domestic courier service selected by KYVALI.
International orders will be shipped via DHL or another international courier service selected by KYVALI depending on the destination, order value, and shipping conditions.
Customers may be contacted directly by the courier, its delivery partners, or customs authorities regarding their shipment. Please ensure that the full legal name of the recipient, complete shipping address, telephone number, and email address are provided at the time of order to avoid delays or additional charges.
If no one is available to receive or sign for the package, the package may be held by the courier or postal administration for redelivery or collection by the recipient. KYVALI is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional charges caused by incorrect, incomplete, or unavailable delivery information.
Import Duties & Taxes
International orders may be subject to import duties, customs fees, taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country or region.
The customer or recipient is responsible for the payment of any such duties, taxes, fees, or charges in addition to the product price and shipping cost.
KYVALI has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office or tax authority for further information before placing your order.
For goods delivered outside Japan, the recipient will be considered the importer of the goods into the destination country or region. The recipient is responsible for customs clearance and for the payment of any applicable customs duties, taxes, and local fees.
KYVALI is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance procedures, inspections, import restrictions, or other processes in the destination country or region.
If a package is refused, unclaimed, returned due to unpaid customs duties or taxes, or returned due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information, the customer may be responsible for the original shipping cost, return shipping cost, customs fees, taxes, and any other additional charges incurred.
Delivery Times
Many KYVALI products are made to order or produced in small quantities by hand.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, orders will usually be prepared and dispatched within 2 to 4 weeks after payment confirmation and address verification.
For made-to-order, bespoke, customized, or pre-order items, production and dispatch times may vary depending on the product, materials, and production schedule. The estimated delivery or dispatch period will be indicated on the product page or communicated separately where necessary.
Please note that during holidays, busy seasons, product launches, or periods of high order volume, dispatch may take longer than usual. KYVALI will notify customers by email if there is a significant delay to their order.
“Ready to ship” items are subject to availability and will be dispatched according to our usual delivery terms while stocks last.
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees will be calculated and displayed at checkout, unless otherwise stated.
For international orders, shipping fees do not include import duties, customs fees, taxes, brokerage fees, or any other charges imposed by the destination country or region. These charges are the responsibility of the customer or recipient.
Order Confirmation and Payment Authorization
Fulfilment of orders may be subject to payment authorization, fraud prevention checks, stock availability, production availability, and address verification.
KYVALI reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or refuse shipment if payment authorization is not completed, if the order information cannot be verified, or if there is a reasonable concern regarding fraud, unauthorized use, or other improper activity.
Returns & Exchanges
As KYVALI products are handmade, made in small quantities, and may include made-to-order or bespoke items, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations due to customer preference, change of mind, personal circumstances, or incorrect size selection by the customer.
Returns or exchanges may only be accepted if the product has a confirmed manufacturing fault or if an incorrect item has been delivered.
If you believe that your item has a manufacturing fault or that you have received an incorrect item, please contact us by email within 7 days of delivery.
All return requests must be approved by KYVALI in advance. Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.
To be eligible for return, the product must be unused, unworn, undamaged, and returned with all original tags, labels, dust bag, accessories, and packaging.
The item must be returned exactly as instructed by KYVALI. KYVALI is not responsible for returns that are shipped incorrectly, delayed, lost, damaged in transit, or subject to customs charges due to incorrect return procedures.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing by KYVALI, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, and any other fees incurred in connection with the return.
If KYVALI confirms that the product has a manufacturing fault or that an incorrect item was delivered, KYVALI may offer, at its discretion, a repair, replacement, exchange, or refund through the original payment method.
Original shipping fees, customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and other external charges are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed in writing by KYVALI.
Size Adjustments and Remakes
Please check the size guide and product details carefully before placing your order.
As KYVALI products are handcrafted and may be made to order, we do not accept returns or cancellations due to incorrect size selection by the customer.
If the size does not fit, KYVALI may, at its discretion, offer a size adjustment, alteration, or remake service where possible. Any adjustment, alteration, or remake may be subject to additional production fees, material fees, shipping fees, customs duties, taxes, and other related costs.
The availability, cost, and schedule of any size adjustment or remake will be determined individually after reviewing the product condition, design, material availability, and production schedule.
Handmade Products
Each KYVALI product is handcrafted one by one by skilled craftsmen in Japan. Due to the nature of handmade leather products, slight variations in texture, grain, color, shape, finish, or construction may occur.
Natural marks, wrinkles, scars, grain variations, and changes in texture are characteristics of leather and are not considered manufacturing faults.
Over time, leather may soften, darken, develop creases, or change in appearance depending on use, storage, humidity, sunlight, and contact with the body. These changes are part of the natural aging process of leather and are not considered defects.
Bespoke and Made-to-Order Items
Bespoke, customized, altered, or made-to-order items are produced specifically for the customer and cannot be returned, exchanged, or cancelled once production has started, except in the case of a confirmed manufacturing fault.
For bespoke or customized orders, KYVALI may contact the customer to confirm design details, sizing, specifications, production schedule, and payment before production begins.
Damaged or Lost Packages
If a package arrives visibly damaged, please retain the original packaging and contact us as soon as possible with photographs of the package, product, shipping label, and any visible damage.
KYVALI will review the information and, where appropriate, assist with a claim to the courier or shipping provider.
KYVALI is not responsible for packages that are delayed, lost, stolen, refused, unclaimed, or returned due to incorrect delivery information, failure to pay customs duties or taxes, or failure to respond to courier or customs requests.
Return Address
For security and proper handling, the return address will be provided individually after your return request has been approved by KYVALI.
Please do not send any items back without prior approval and return instructions from KYVALI. Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.
